Good man for seeing that skin color doesn't matter, he saw talent and made a team even teams. He taught that no matter what skin color you were if you had a jersey on that they were all the same. I think this statement means that he wasn't trying to beat everyone at his game but to help people to help their future,for he was one of the greatest basketball players coach.
